Meet the Author, Robyn Bridges

My life did not turn out at all the way I’d planned.
And everything that followed became a litany of letting go.

I’d always loved nature. But I never actually needed it as much as when, in my early thirties, my young dreams were unexpectedly dashed. Unrelenting sorrow and varied forms of soul loss set in. (You can read my books for the specifics.)

Yet poultices exist everywhere. To recover, I began alternating visits to various healers with long forays into the sentient mountains of Montana. Having what some might call “supernatural” and synchronistic encounters, I became enchanted with the vivid relationship I was forming with trees, stones, animals, plants, and even weather patterns. Thus began a journey leading toward wisdom and solace, both within and without. The quiet mountain ranges that had first witnessed my sudden decline now began to assist with my profound recovery. And I began to realize that this type of radical healing was available to everyone. All my resulting work, from becoming a body-mind-spirit psychotherapist, to writing books, creating CDs, podcasts, and conducting Ceremony in Nature, has been born out of the loving, conscious awareness so fully offered throughout the natural world. It is my pleasure to continue to illuminate this way of healing for others.
